Robert Ament and David Ament established the law firm of Ament Law Firm LLC in 1981 and have been at 39 Town Hall Square in Falmouth, MA ever since. The firm now consists of one attorney and two support staff specializing in the zoning, development, purchase and sale, title examination, mortgage financing, and closing of commercial and residential real estate in Falmouth, Cape Cod, and the Islands, as well as the estate planning and personal legal needs of our clients.

Robert Ament is a graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A. 1970) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 1973). He is admitted to practice in the Massachusetts state and federal courts and works with clients primarily in the zoning and permitting process for real estate in Falmouth and on Cape Cod.

Kevin P. Klauer II is a native of Cape Cod and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (Cum Laude) and Suffolk University Law School. He is experienced in estate planning, probate administration and representation of Buyers, Borrowers and Sellers regarding the sale, purchase and refinance of residential real estate. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod, and he is an approved counsel for First American Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.

Matthew M. Terry joined Ament Klauer LLP in December of 2018. His practice areas include representation of buyers, sellers and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use permitting, and all aspects of business transactions and operations including asset and company sales, leases and joint venture structuring. Mr. Terry is a 2000 graduate of Yale University. After Attorney Terry received his juris doctorate in 2003 from Boston College Law School, he was an associate attorney for two years at Goodwin Proctor and seven years at Ropes and Gray. Mr. Terry is a native of and currently resides in Sandwich with his wife Jessica and their two children. 
He is an approved counsel for First American Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Guaranty Company and CATIC.
